Experimental music is a very rare find in Bozen/Bolzano (Italy).
Sound artists work almost unnoticed by the outside world while they experiment with acoustic soundscapes, manipulate the circuits of buzzing toys, explore mathematical note sequences, and find a unique ways to employ their musical instruments.
Experimental music stems from a variety of sources with one common denominator: the exploration of the sounds, noises and instru- ments, of music itself.
In Edition 2013, LaGrind Noire has put togeth- er a collection of tracks created by local artists dealing with experimental music in a manner which is informal, off the beaten path, and without regards for rigid theoretical confines.
